Showcasing Tanzania’s emerging Domestic Tourism sector, UWANDAE EXPO2020 gave travel industry investors, administrators, service providers and product suppliers the opportunity to learn about this emerging market, share knowledge, forge business relationships and meet travellers.

UWANDAE EXPO2020 had the privilege to welcome guests and visitors from Tanzania and across the world including:-

Tanzania Tourist Board (Ms Devota Mdachi (MD); African Tourism Board (Mr Cuthbert Ncube (Chair)  & Ms Doris Maria Wörfel  (CEO) & Abigail Olagbaye (ATB  Ambassador Nigeria); the German Embassy in Tanzania (Ms Regine Hess (Ambassador) & Julia Hanning (Head of Development Corporation); Ethiopia Embassy – Tanzania (Ms Firekal Bekele); Republic of Angola representatives, (Ms Angela Martha Diamantino (AWIBT), Valeriana Pierre (AAVOTA),  (Ms Maria Marcelina Lucanda (Commissaria Nacional Elecitoral) ; AWOTTA International Partner (Ms Julie Ralston, London UK); Ms Basilla Mwanukuzi (Director, The Look Company – Miss Tanzania Beauty Pageant); Business owners and entrepreneurs;  Journalists; local celebrities; travellers and international tourists; and Tanzanian residents, students and families. 

EXHIBITORS

Exhibitors came from across Tanzania (Dar es Salaam to Bukoba, Arusha to Zanzibar) to showcase their products and services over 3 days at UWANDAE EXPO2020.

All exhibitors were personally presented with a ‘Certificate of Appreciation’ for their attendance for leading the way in providing products and services to the emerging domestic tourism market.

Thank you to City Lodge Hotel (Dar es Salaam) and the German Embassy for sponsoring a special networking cocktail evening for exhibitors and Expo delegates.
